Dell Hall at The Long Center
Enjoy symphonic variations from around the world, performed by legendary pianist Leon Fleisher and the Austin Symphony Orchestra. A Steinway Spirio will be set up with instruments provided by Violins, Etc. along with space for audience members to see and hear.
3M Half Marathon
Join over 7,000 runners to experience one of the fastest half marathon courses in the country. Run past some of Austin’s iconic locations, finishing downtown near the Texas State capitol. With a festival and beer garden at the finish line, the 3M Half Marathon has enough fun for everyone.
Martin Luther King March and Festival
Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, this annual community march highlights the diversity and multi-culturalism of our city. Starting at the MLK Statue on the University of Texas campus, the march will end at the Huston-Tillotson University, where local vendors and musicians await.

The Austin Opera will perform the Pulitzer Prize-winning modern classic Silent Night, with music from Kevin Puts. Celebrate 100 years since the end of World War I by recounting a miraculous moment of peace during one of the bloodiest wars in human history.
